The Bibeksheel Sajha Party has said reforms in medical education and health sectors raised by Dr KC should not be used for partisan interest. The party clarified that although it expressed solidarity with Dr KC’s demands, its leaders and social campaigners had joined the demonstration voluntarily. Party Spokesperson Suryaraj Acharya said that lawyer and member of party’s campaign department Om Prakash Aryal had facilitated the talks between the government and Dr KC personally, refuting claims of the party’s direct involvment. “Our leaders and cadres had not participated in the demonstration carrying party’s flag. We are clear that none of the political parties should use such issues for political benefit,” Acharya said. (RSS)
