A motorcyclist died after being hit by a car at Urlabari-Bardanga road here on Saturday night.
Rabi Raya, 25, of the same locality died after the motorcycle (Ja 9 Pa 7818) he was riding was hit by a car (Ba 8 Cha 3097) coming from the opposite direction. Rabi died on the way to hospital, police said. Krishna Ghimire, 24, who was pillion riding was seriously injured in the incident and is undergoing treatment at Nobel hospital in Biratnagar.
The car has been impounded while the driver has been taken into custody for necessary action, Police Inspector at the Area Police Office Ram Prasad Timalsena said. RSS
