The health condition of Ganga Maya Adhikari, who has been staging a hunger strike since the last 28 days, is gradually deteriorating.
Adhikari has been staging the protest at Bir Hospital from May 30 demanding arrest of the accused in the murder of her son Krishna Prasad Adhikari as per the order of the Supreme Court.
Hospital Director Dr Bhupendra Basnet informed that although Ganga Maya has agreed to take saline from time to time her health condition is gradually deteriorating as she has not eaten for the past 4 weeks.
Likewise, Dr Basnet further informed that Ganga Maya has also refused to give blood samples for tests.
