Province 4 has endorsed its budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2018-19.

The Provincial Assembly meeting on Thursday passed the budget of Rs 24 billion with a majority approval of the House.

The budget was endorsed following the endorsement of State Appropriation Bill on Thursday.

Earlier on Tuesday, a bill required to implement the proposals related to finance was endorsed.

The budget has prioritised development of physical infrastructures like roads, towns, drinking water projects and irrigation facilities. Around 50 percent of the budget is dedicated to infrastructure development.

Besides, the budget has also prioritised tourism, energy, agriculture and industry sectors.
