A woman died and two fell unconscious due to excessive heat at Gaushala Municipality -8 in Mahottari district on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Sikildevi Musahar, 35, said Inspector Bhola Bhatta of the Area Police Office, Gaushala.
The incident took place when she was planting paddy at her farm.
Similarly, Sunardevi Sada Musahar, 55, and Kisundevi Sada Musahar, 25, fell unconscious due to excessive heat when they were planting paddy with Sikildevi, added Bhatta. Sunardevi is mother-in-law of Sikildevi.
Sunardevi and Kisundevi are receiving treatment at primary treatment centre, Gaushala, and their condition is improving, said Dr Manoj Das.
