The Metropolitan Police Circle, New Buspark has arrested one for illegally collecting passports from aspiring migrant workers.
The police on Thursday made public Prem Bahadur BK, operator of Mitranagar, KMC-26-based Swargadwari Hotel, along with 41 passports. The police had arrested BK from his own hotel on Wednesday.
Metropolitan Police Circle Chief Mohan Bikaram KC informed that as per the preliminary investigation, BK collected the passports from the aspiring workers in collusion with manpower businessmen with the hopes of earning in millions.
Meanwhile, the arrestee has been sent to Foreign Employment Department along with the confiscated passports for further investigation.
