The Supreme Court (SC) has denied an interim order against the government decision to grant amnesty to murder-convict Bal Krishna Dhungel.
A joint bench of SC Justices Mira Khadka and Tanka Bahadur Moktan, for now, has declined to issue an interim order saying that the apex court will discuss on later days if the government decision to grant amnesty to Dhungel was legal or not.
The SC doses not deem necessary to issue an interim order on behalf of the plaintiff at a time when Dhungel among others have been released following an amnesty granted by the Honourable President.
