Two women were arrested in possession of 10 kg hashish from Hetauda on Friday.
The suspects have been identified as Uma Devi Patel, 55, and Asha Devi Patel, 35, of Birgunj-11.
Police nabbed the duo from a bus (Ba 3 Kha 2831) heading towards Hetauda from Palung during a regular security check this afternoon . The banned substance was hidden in their clothes.
It has been learnt that the women had bought the contraband from Tistung.
Police said that they have confiscated 5 kg hashish from each woman.
