Pre-budget discussion to begin from May 9

House Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara has said pre-budget discussion for the next fiscal year will commence on May 9.
At a press conference organised in Singha Durbar on Wednesday, Speaker Mahara made public the possible list of the discussions on the pre-budget of fiscal year 2018/2019 in the House of Representatives under the federal parliament.
He informed that Finance Minister would put forth the policy and priority of the pre-budget and discussion would be held on the same.
The pre-budget discussion was postponed for three days as Finance Minister is leaving for a foreign trip. The budget session of Parliament would begin from May 6.
The policy and programmes of the government would be unveiled in the third week of May.
