A man convicted of robbery has been arrested after nine years from Lamjung district.
Mangal Bahadur Gurung, 36, of Jagat in Marsyangdi Rural Municipality, Lamjung, was convicted of robbery by Manang District Court and sentenced him to six years in prison nine years ago. He was also fined Rs 1.945 million by the court.
Police said another convict, Buddhi Bahadur Gurung, also of Jagat, is still on the run. He also faces a similar sentence and fine as of Mangal Bahadur.
All other convicts of the case have already done their time in jail.
