Auditor General Tanka Mani Sharma presented the Auditor General’s 55th annual report to President Bidya Devi Bhandari at the latter’s office on Thursday.

The report details the financial transactions of all government offices, and state-owned organisations, boards, councils, and committees in the fiscal year 2017/18, in line with Article 294 of Nepal's Constitution.

It also checks the status of compliance to laws related to financial disciplines and accountability as well as recommendations for the improvement.
