Mahottari district court has convicted three persons for the abduction and murder of an eight-year-old child and sentenced them to 31 years in prison.
A single bench of Justice Subhasbabu Puri on Monday convicted Sabir Ansari, of Bhatauliya-1, Sudhir Kumar Sah, of Bhatauliya-2, and Anish Kumar Sah, of Bhatauliya-3, for the murder and abduction of the child. They judge slapped 20 years in prison terms on trio for the child's murder and an additional 11 years for abduction. The court has imposed Rs 50,000 on each of them.
The three had abducted Jenish Mahaseth of Bhatauliya-2 and murdered him on January 10, 2016.
