A woman died and two others were injured after being struck by a lightning in Mahakulung Rural Municipality-4 of Solukhumbu district on Friday night.

According to Inspector Pradyumna Adhikari, the deceased has been identified as Rijamali Rai, 56, of the district.

Police said that the Shanti Rai, 25 and Kshitij Karki, 14, were injured in the incident. They are undergoing treatment at a local health post in Gudel. RSS
