A man killed his wife by hitting her with a wooden stool at Priti of Umakanda Rural Municipality-4 in Ramechhap district on Tuesday.

According to District Police Office Inspector Rajendra Kumar Thapa, Tara Bahadur Sunuwar allegeldy bludgeoned his wife Surya Kala Sunwar with the wooden stool in the head killing her on the spot. The police informed that the couple was inebriated when the incident happened.

Police have arrested the husband and Syura Kala’s body has been taken to Dolakha-based Jiri Hospital for post-mortem, informed Inspector Thapa.
