Three persons died and two others were injured in a tractor accident at Malarani in Gurbhakot Municipality-2 of Surkhet district on Tuesday.
The deceased have been identified as tractor driver Phatta Bahadur BK, 20, Shashi Ram BK, 25, and Narayan Khatri, 32, of Mehelkuna, Gurbhakot-8, District Traffic In-Charge Sub-Inspector Kabi Century said.
Similarly, Tek Bahadur Dhaulakoti, 31, and Amar BK, 32, of Gurbhakot-8 were injured in the accident.
The incident occurred when the four-wheeler (Bhe 1 Ta 6168) heading towards Botechaur from Gairi Bazaar overturned this morning, informed Sub-Inspector Century.
He said that the injured are out of control and are undergoing treatment at the Mehelkuna Hospital.
