A student died Sunday after being hit by a tipper at Nala of Banepa Municipality-4 in Kavrepalanchowk.
The deceased has been identified as Amir Pandey, 14, of Banepa Municipality-1, confirmed the District Police Office, Kavre.
Seriously injured in the accident, Amir was referred to Kathmandu from the Banepa-based Scheer Memorial Hospital, but succumbed on the way. He was a ninth grader at the local Gyankunj Higher Secondary School.
Police have arrested the driver along with the vehicle for the investigation. RSS
