An Indian national was killed when a bus hit his motorcycle at Dohani on the Taulihawa-Bhairahawa road section here on Wednesday.
Police identified the victim as 50-year-old Gauri Shanker Chaurasia, a resident of Siddharthanagar, India. The bus (Lu 1 Kha 3734) en route to Taulihawa hit Chaurasia's motorcycle (UP55 U 3564). Chaurasia died on the spot.
Police has taken the bus and its driver under control for necessary investigation while Chaurasia's body has been taken to the District Hospital, Taulihawa for post-mortem examination. RSS
