A person, who was at large after being convicted of banking fraud, has been arrested by a joint team of Chitwan police and Central Investigation Bureau.
Deputy Superintendent of Police of Chitwan, Prabhu Prasad Dhakal, on Monday informed that Bimal Khadka, 34, of Kathmandu was arrested from Gondrang of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-9.
Appellate Court, Patan, had on September 17, 2014 punished Khadka with three years of imprisonment and Rs 57.7 million fine.
Meanwhile, police have arrested Amrit Gurung and CJ Lama of Bharatpur, Chitwan, who had been absconding after attacking Sanjay Karki of Bharatpur while watching football, from Kathmandu. Investigation into the case has been forwarded in Chitwan.
