NC nominates names for NA from four provinces
The Nepali Congress has nominated its candidates for the election to the post of members to the National Assembly representing four provinces.The Nepali Congress has nominated its candidates for the election to the post of members to the National Assembly representing four provinces.
The party office bearers meeting being held at the Prime Minister's residence, Baluwatar, decided about the nomination from Province No 4, 5, 6 and 7, said the party office Tuesday.
Those nominated as candidates for the member of the National Assembly from Province No 4 are- Surendra Raj Pande (open), Brinda Ranamagar (Women), Jit Bahadur Nepali (Dalit), and Prakash Pant (person with disability).Similarly, Durga Prasad Upadhyay (open), Anita Devkota (women), Maikulal Balmiki (Dalit), and Loot Bahadur Khatri (person with disability) are from Province No 5.
Similarly, those nominated by the party from Province No 6 are Bishnu Bahadur Sahi (open), Surya Devi Malla (women), Sitaram BK (Dalit), and Gopal Sharma (person with disability).
Badri Pande (open), Tara Devi Bhatta (women), Dharma Raj Joshi (person with disability) and Sheri Ram Parki (Dalit) are picked from Province No 7.
It is also learnt that the NC has kept on discussion to forge alliance with various parties in difference provinces.
Meanwhile, the Election Commission has published the name list of voters in the office of the election officer in all seven provinces on Sunday as per the calendar of the election to the National Assembly. RSS
