Merger with UML not possible if Maoist Centre not given PM or party chair post
CPN (Maoist Centre) leader Devendra Paudel has said that unification with CPN-UML will not be possible if his party's Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal is not given the post of prime minister or party chairman.
CPN (Maoist Centre) leader Devendra Paudel has said that unification with CPN-UML will not be possible if his party's Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal is not given the post of prime minister or party chairman.
Speaking at an interaction organised in Reporters’ Club in the Capital on Tuesday, leader Paudel claimed that there will not be unification between two parties if the UML takes all the lucrative posts.
“Chances of party unification will be slim if the UML takes all the lucrative posts. The UML should accept people’s mandate,” he said. What will be the significance if the UML takes the posts of President, Prime Minister, Speaker, party chairman and leader of Parliamentary Party,” he questioned.
Moreover, he said that UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli should either leave the post of Prime Minister or party Chairman.
