Three persons were injured when an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) went off at the district land revenue office in Siraha on Friday.
According to DSP Raj Kumar Bhetwal of the District Police Office, Siraha, the injured have been identified as paralegal at the office Pawan Paswan, 45, of Siraha Municipality-1, service seekers Raj Kumar Paswan and Roshan Paswan of Saraswar, Siraha Municipality-12.
The injured are undergoing treatment at the District Hospital, Siraha, Bhetwal informed.
The IED which was planted under the sofa exploded all off a sudden this afternoon causing damage to the office wall while the window glasses have also been broken, police said.
Police said that they are investigating into the incident.
