An Improvised Explosive Device was detonated near a polling centre at Dharan-bed Chandra Sanskrit Secondary School in Sunsari 1 on Thursday.
According to the police, the IED exploded near the polling centre and no casualties, human or otherwise, have been reported.
The voting process is underway without any hitch.
The police are searching for the perpetrators involved in the incident.
