Police has arrested a person for allegedly shooting another person to death in Dang district.

Madhav Pun, 28, of Shivagadi rural municipality-3 in Kapilvastu was arrested for killing Ramlal Puri, 26, of Gadwa rural municpality-3 in Dang while the two had gone for hunting on November 25.

Meanwhile, police also arrested a man for raping a physically challenged girl in Ghorahi.

Jibaraj Subedi, 45, of Naubahini rural municipality was arrested on rape charges. He has been accused of taking the girl on hostage for 15 days and raping her.

Police are investigating both the cases.
