NC Udayapur candidate critically injured in ambush
Nepali Congress (NC) candidate for parliamentary election from Udayapur-2 Narayan Bahadur Karki's vehicle was ambushed in the district on Wednesday.

Nepali Congress (NC) candidate for parliamentary election from Udayapur-2 Narayan Bahadur Karki's vehicle was ambushed in the district on Wednesday. Karki and his three associates were injured in the blast.
SP Nawaraj Bhatta said Karki and his three associates were heading for an election assembly at Nepaltar bazaar in Udapurgadi at Danuwar Beshi, in between Udayapurgadi Rural Municipality 5 and 6, when they were ambushed.
Eyewitness said the vehicle (Ba 15 Cha 7806) was thrown 10 meters up in the air.
Karki's assistants Mira Katuwal, Dhanmaya Dhaulakoti and driver Rajan Karki were injured. District Police Office said they will be airlifted to Kathmandu for treatment in a chopper.
