A bomb was exploded at the house of Nepali Congress (NC) candidate Home Karki at Triyuga Municipality-7 in Udayapur on Tuesday morning.

Karki is the candidate of state assembly ‘Kha’ of Udayapur constituency-1.

According to Karki’s father, an unidentified group ran away after throwing the Improvise Explosive Device (IED) at the house.

No human casualty was reported in the incident.

SP Nabaraj Bhatta, Chief at the District Police Office, Udayapur, said that police are looking into the incident.

Meanwhile, police have so far arrested seven people for their alleged involvement in carrying out anti-election activities. RSS
