A 112-year-old man cast his vote from Raghuganga Rural Municipality-3 polling station in Myagdi district on Sunday.
"I am very excited to cast vote as I am going to elect my representative," said Khaka Bahadur Bhandari.
Security personnel said that voting is going on peacefully in the district.
The district has a total of 106 polling centers, while there are the total 65,538 voters. A total of 13 candidates are vying in the polls.
The voting of the first phase of the federal parliament and provincial assembly elections is underway in 32 mountain and Hill districts today.
Voters carrying identity cards have started pouring into polling stations from early in the morning as the country started voting at 7 am today.
