CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said the upcoming elections are vital for the economic prosperity and political stability in the country and the alliance between UML and CPN (Maoist Center) is needed for the same.

At a programme in Chormara, Nawalparasi, on Wednesday, Oli alleged that the Nepali Congress leadership could not bail the country out of the political crisis. He went on to claim the communist forces would unite after the election and form a communist government to give momentum to the country's development.

Oli also claimed that the leftist force would secure majority in the upcoming elections. He further said that the other political parties have been misleading people against the leftist forces and urged the people to vote for them ignoring such impressions. He also directed party leaders and cadres to reach out to the people to clear such confusions created by the other parties.

During the programme, Oli welcomed cadres of various parties who entered the UML.
