Three motorcycles that were used for electioneering purpose have been torched at Greygaon, Parbatikunda rural municipality in the district on Sunday evening.
Some people suspected to be involved in the incident have been arrested from the area last night and investigation started in that connection, according to Police Inspector Dhruba Silwal.
He said police patrolling has been intensified in the district remaining alert to the possibility of anti-election activities in the run-up to the House of Representatives and State Assembly elections taking place on November 26. RSS
