Police have arrested Lal Bahadur BC, the Chitwan district in-charge of the Biplav-led Nepal Communist Party. He was arrested on Sunday from Narayangadh market area.
Spokesman for the District Police Office Chitwan, Deputy Superintendent Prabhu Dhakal said that BC has been arrested as a pre-emptive measure after incidents of attacks on election campaign started increasing of late in Chitwan.
The Nepal Communist Party, which is opposed to the election, has started carrying out anti-election activities across the country.
Before this, police have arrested two people associated with the party from Tandi and Bharatpur for their involvement in anti-election activities. RSS
