An unidentified gang detonated a bomb in a jeep parked in front of the house of one Radha Krishna Thakuri at Jeetpur-Simara Sub-metropolitan City at 5:30 am on Monday.

The house is located behind the District Forest Office.

Police said the jeep (registration number plate Ba 14 Cha 6330) was used by Om Krishna Karki for the purpose of election campaign. Karki is the State Assembly member election candidate from Bara district constituency-4.

The vehicle has suffered general damage and no human casualties have been reported in the bomb blast, it is stated. RSS
