A group unruly youths looted voter education materials at Nisikhola in Baglung district on Saturday. The assailants whisked away the voter education materials from volunteer Radhika Sharma.
“They waylaid us and demanded the materials,” said Sharma, adding that the assailants even warned her not to do such works [voter education campaign]. Police said they had identified the assailants involved in the incident.
SP Chandra Kuber Khapung said Lal Bahadur Budha and Sundar Budha of Nisikhola-3 were involved in the incident. “We are trying to ascertain the party they are affiliated with,” he added.
