Monitoring ramped up in Dailekh's sensitive voting centers

Chief District Officer Bishwa Raj Neupane said the monitoring was stepped up following the formation of security committee in the district and in view of the nearing provincial and federal elections.
CDO Neupane said extra security measures were taken in sensitive centers. "Sensitive areas were identified following the local level election and security has been arranged in those areas," said Neupane. Of the 136 voting stations in 11 local units of the district, five have been listed as highly sensitive, 17 as sensitive and 114 as normal.
The security committee said election centers will be guarded by personnel from Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and National Investigation Bureau.
