Vice-president of Federation of Nepali Journalists, Manang chapter Nabin Lamichhane was manhandled in course of news reporting in Nesyang rural municipality.
Cadres of independent candidate Dipak Manange physically assaulted Lamichhane on Friday as he reached Manang village in Nesyang for news reporting.
According to Lamichhane, he was trying to take photographs of a procession taken out by UML cadres in support of Manange when he was pulled aside and threatened.
Lamichhane is also a correspondent for the Rastriya Samachar Samiti. RSS
