A man was killed when met with an accident along Gaur-Chandranigahapur road section in the district on Thursday evening. The deceased has been identified as Sanjaya Kumar Sah Rauniyar, 22, of Jitpur Municipality-3 in Bara.

Rauniyar was riding the motorcycle (Na 51 Pa 9559) under the influence of alcohol, the police said. He died in the course of treatment at a hospital in Garuda at dawn today.

The pillion passenger Paban Kumar Sah, of Madhavnarayan Municipality-3 in Rautahat injured in the accident was receiving treatment at a health institution at Garuda, the police said. RSS
