A joint bomb disposal team of Nepal Army and Armed Police Force neutralised an improvised explosive device (IED) in Phidim Municipality-2 in the district on Wednesday.

The team acted upon information about the IED plantation provided by the local people.

The IED was planted in a location leading to Pallotar in front of the house of a local resident Mahesh Timsina.
