A division bench of justices Deepak Raj Joshi and Prakash Man Singh Raut on Tuesday issued an interim order to the Ministry of Education. Sharma had moved the apex court on October 8, demanding an interim order against the government decision to sack him as the Sajha Prakashan chief.
The Ministry of Education (MoE) had sacked Sharma on September 24 on the charge of financial irregularities.
After finding Sharma’s first clarification unsatisfactory, the MoE had sought another clarification from him on September 12.
Based on the report prepared by the ministry regarding irregularities in Sajha Prakashan, Sharma was on September 4 asked to furnish clarification over the issue.
In the writ, Sharma has made the MoE, education minister, Sajha Prakashan and incumbent Chairman and General Manager of Sajha Prakashan Krishna Prasad Kafle defendant.
