Rs 2 million stolen from Siraha money transfer

Police said that more than Rs 2 million was stolen from the Lahan-based Krishna Money Transfer in Siraha on Friday morning.
Ram Ashish Mahato, the owner of money transfer, said that Rs 600,000 in cash, recharge card worth around Rs 1.2 million of NTC/ Ncell, a laptop and a scanner among others were stolen from the office.
According to CCTV footage, a group of masked men barged into the office from the window at around 4 am today and decamped with the cash and valuables.
The incident is just a stone’s throw away from the Area Police Office, Lahan.
Police said that they are looking into the case.
