Two persons died on the spot after a tipper hit a motorbike they were riding on at Dhunibeshi Municipality-9 in Dhading along the Tribhuvan Highway on Friday.
The deceased have been identified as bike rider Rameshwor Silwal, 21, of Babarmahal, Kathmandu and pillion rider Salin Tuladhar of Tripureshwor, Kathmandu.
The tipper (Ba 2 Kha 7182) en route to Kathmandu from Galchi Baireni hit the motorbike (Ba 82 Pa 7797) this morning, Inspector Jiwan Niraula of the Area Police Office, Khanikhola.
Police have impounded the tipper and arrested its driver for investigation.
