3 govt officials caught red-handed with bribe in Dharan

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) caught three employees of Dharan-based District Administration Office (DAO) caught red-handed while receiving bribe from service seekers on Tuesday.
The arrestees have been identified as Harka Rai, Ybaraj Pokharel and Mohan Subedi.
They were arrested while taking Rs 20,000 as kickback from service seekers who were at the office to correct the date of birth in their citizenships.
The arrested government officials have been taken to Tangal-based CIAA office for further investigation, informed DSP Mukunda Rijal.
