A motorcyclist died and four others were injured in a road accident at Kamal Rural Municipality in Jhapa district on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Yogendra Adhikari, 34, of Gauradaha-1 in the district, according to the Area Police Office, Damak.
The accident took place when a motorcycle (Ko 27 Pa 2989) and a van (Me 1 Cha 4963) collided with each other at Geuriya along Padajungi-Gaurigunj road section, said Police Inspector Milan Basnet.
Adhikari died on the way to Damak for treatment. Similarly, the injured Bam Bahadur Katuwal, his wife Devimaya Katuwal have been referred to B & C Hospital while Jagat BK and Bharat Lwagun are receiving treatment at a local Lifeline Hospital. RSS
