President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Friday inspected the under construction Syafrubesi-Mailung road section in Rasuwa district. The construction works are undertaken by the Nepal Army. 

She also visited Gosainkunda, a famous religious site in the distirct, and offered worship, Secretary at President's Office , Bhupendra Prasad Poudel, said.  

Similarly, the President also visited the Dhunche-based NA Kalijung Battalion deputed for the security of Langtang National Park and took stock of it. 

On the occasion, Rasuwa's Chief District Officer, Hiradevi Adhikari apprised the President of the situation in the district and Battalion Chief Lieutenant Colonel Shital Baniya apprised about efforts made by the battalion for the conservation of bio-diversity of the park.
