The initiative of CPN-UML, Maoist Centre and Naya Shakti Nepal to form a communist party has started to take the country towards the path of political polarisation.
Speaking at a programme organised in Rukum on Thursday, Minister Sharma said that that the process to forge an electoral alliance and unification between UML and Maoist Centre was a result of a long discussion.
“Now, the time has come to develop the country,” he said, adding, “Political polarisation was essential for the development of the nation.”
He informed that discussions are underway to rope in other progressive forces into the alliance.
“The country will witness stability, development and prosperity if the nation walks on the path of political polarisation,” he said.
