Alleged serial killer arrested

A police team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Crime Division (MPCD) arrested an alleged serial killer from Mahendranagar. He has been brought to Kathmandu on Thursday.
The suspect has been identified as Prakash Singh Thagunna.
According to the MPCD, many complaints of murder have been filed against Thagunna.
He has been accused of murdering Mishri Maya Shrestha of Battisputali, Kathmandu, in 2007.
Similarly, he is accused of raping a woman in 2004 and the case is underway in Lalitpur District Court.
Likewise, Thagunna is also accused of opening fire at Shankar Adhikari in 2007.
