Three people were injured when boulders dislodged by a landslide hit vehicles near Headbox in Tinau Rural Municipality of Palpa along the Siddhartha Highway on Wednesday.
According to District Traffic Police, bike rider Ram Bahadur Ghimire, 26, of Rupandehi, Butwal, and pillion rider Namita Neupane, of Butwal, were injured after the rolling stone hit a motorbike (Lu 17 Pa 1873).
Likewise, Rama Ghimire, 21, of Sainamaina in Rupadehi district, sustained minor injury when a moving Scorpio jeep (Ba 15 Cha 7514) was hit by a stone that rolled down following the landslide.
