Police on Monday arrested two persons for their alleged involvement in an acid attack in Chitwan.
The suspects have been identified as Narayan Neupane and Sushil Koirala of Bharatpur, Chitwan. Both of them are the members of Communist Party of Nepal, according to the District Police Office, Chitwan.
The duo had attacked Prakash Chandra Dhungana, engineer at the Ratnanagar Municipality in Chitwan district on September 17 this year.
According to a preliminary investigation, Neupane and Koirala had barged into the office of Dhungana and attacked him with the acid.
Police said that they are looking into the case. RSS
