A person died when the motorcycle he was travelling on collided with a jeep nearby Islampur in Rampur Municipality-4 of Palpa district on Thursday evening.

The deceased has been identified as Suraj Sen, 25, of Badaban in Rampur Municipality, according to the Area Police Office, Rampur. He was a pillion rider.

The incident took place around 7 pm when the overspeeding motorcycle (Ga 8 Pa 8986) collided with a jeep (Ga 1 Ja 5052) coming from the opposite direction.

Sen died on the spot while motorcyclist Sunil Thapa is undergoing treatment at the Rampur Hospital in Palpa, police said. RSS
