Police have arrested 14 youth for staging a protest in front of the Parliament building in Kathmandu on Monday.
The protesters were arrested from the north gate of the parliament while they were demonstrating agitating against the new Medical Education Act which is likely to be endorsed by the House today.
The arrested individuals have been detained at Tinkune-based Police Office.
Dr Jeevan Chhetri, Rabindra Baniya among others, were arrested for staging the protest.
