A 20 – year – old youth was killed and another injured after a tractor plunged 50 metres below the road at Khoploang Sundarkhola of Palungtar municipality – 1 in Gorkha on Saturday.
Driver, Aaitpal Gurung, of Sulikot rural municipality – 4 was killed and 19 – year – old assistant driver, Sujan Pariyar, of Palungtar municipality – 9 sustained serious injuries after the tractor (Ga 1 Ta 3716) veered off the road.
Gurung died on the way to Gorkha Hospital last night, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Bhesh Raj Risal, of District Police Office, Gorkha. Pariyar is currently undergoing treatment, police said. The tractor was returning to Palungtar from Siranchowk when the accident took place. RSS
