Two persons died after being hit by a bus at Bhandar in Chitwan on Saturday.
The deceased have been identified as Mahila Tamang, 45, and Fulmaya Lopchan, 40, of Rapti-5.
The bus (Na 6 Kha 9011) heading towards Birgunj from Kathmandu hit the duo while they were crossing the road at around 3:30 am today, according to the District Police Office, Chitwan.
Police said that they breathed their last during the course of treatment at the Bharatpur Hospital.
Police said that they have impounded the vehicle and arrested its driver for investigation. RSS
