A jeep carrying a police team deployed for Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s security met with an accident at Phaltude of Kailali along the Dhangadhi-Dadeldhura (Bhimdutta) Highway on Wednesday.
Nine police personnel were injured when the jeep (Se 1 Ja 1503) overturned. Two of them have sustained serious injuries, said District Police Office, Kailali.
PM Deuba was on his way to Dhangadi after casting his vote in the second phase of local elections in his home district Dadeldhura.
